The Dubuque Miners "Golden Axes" Cheer Team is the official spirit squad of the Dubuque Miners Football Organization! Bringing energy, team pride, and excitement to every game day at Chalmers Field and beyond!
We're looking for enthusiastic, community-minded individuals who have a passion for performance, teamwork, and making a lasting impact both on and off the field. As a Golden Axe, you'll be part of the Miners family, representing Dubuque with class, spirit, and gold-standard enthusiasm.
What it means to be a Golden Axe:
Cheer and perform at all Miners home games and select community events
Engage with fans, youth programs, and local partners throughout the Tri-State area
Serve as ambassadors for the Dubuque Miners brand and mission
Work alongside a dynamic and supportive team of athletes, coaches, and community leaders
Ideal Candidates:
Age 18+ (or turning 18 before the 2026 season)
Energetic, dependable, and passionate about teamwork and community involvement
Cheer, dance, or spirit experience is a plus, but is not required
Must be available for practices, games, and scheduled appearances
