The Youth Development Program exists to:

• provide positive male/female and team-based role models

• promote confidence, discipline, and leadership

• encourage healthy lifestyles and physical activity

• foster teamwork and accountability

• create safe, supportive learning environments

• connect youth to community-minded mentors

Our goal is to help young people grow not only as athletes, but as students, leaders, and future contributors to the community.

chalmers bowl - annual youth showcase game

One of the cornerstone youth initiatives supported by the Dubuque Miners Organization is the Chalmers Bowl, an annual youth football showcase hosted at Chalmers Field in partnership with local youth programs and community supporters.

The Chalmers Bowl provides young athletes with the opportunity to:

• compete in a memorable, high-energy game environment under the lights

• experience a collegiate-style stadium setting

• build confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship

• connect with Miners players, coaches, and mentors

This event is designed to celebrate youth effort, teamwork, and community pride while creating a positive and encouraging gameday experience for athletes and families.

This annual tradition reflects out commitment to:

• supporting youth athletics

• providing meaningful opportunities for young players

• strengthening connections between youth programs and the broader community

Player and Coach-led conversations around:
